Abstract
A new tornado simulator controlled by multi-fan and multi-vane was developed. This tornado simulator can change inlet boundary conditions, distribution of inlet angle and of inlet velocity, by 48 fans, which can change its rotation speed freely, and 48 guide-vanes, which can control the inlet angle. In this study, the inlet angle and the inlet velocity were decided by the centers of convergent flow and of rotation flow under assumption that tornado-like flow was formed with convergent flow, rotation flow and parallel flow. As the results of this study, the vortex was generated at the point which is different to assumed point because the inlet angle changed the resistant for flow, and inlet flow velocity.
