Abstract
Three Japanese Marsh Warblers Phylloscopus fuscatus were banded at Shiwara, Mihama, Minamimuro-gun, Mie Prefecture on 11 November 2013 and 28 December. The Japanese Marsh Warbler is not banded till now in Mie Prefecture. These records were regarded as the first banding records of the Japanese Marsh Warblers in Mie Prefecture. The individual which banded it on November 11, 2013 having been recaptured 47 days later, two other individuals were banded in the end of December, it was suggested that the Japanese Marsh Warblers were wintering at this place.
