Number of tail feathers: 308 Japanese bird species and 201 foreign (out of Japan) bird species

Abstract

This paper reports the number of feathers: 308 species of Japanese birds and 201 species of foreign (out of Japan) birds. The number of tail feathers was counted from living birds, specimen and obtained dead bodies.
