Abstract
83 Japanese Wagtails Motacilla grandis were banded and measured at Toki River, Ranzan-machi and Higashimatsuyama-shi, Saitama prefecture, from October 1988 to January 1989.
Research showed that remiges, the outermost alula and primary coverts differ between sex and age classes. These are shown in figs. 1, 2 and table 2. The differences in measurements between sex and age classes are shown in table 1.
