A roosting flock of Little Ringed Plover was observed in a sport park along the Ara River, near the city of Omiya, Saitama Prefecture. Observations were conducted during 1990 and 1991, and showed that the plovers begin arriving in June, reach a peak in August, then remain until mid or late September.
