A case of extraesophageal foreign body (needle) which was situated in the perilaryngeal abcess is reported. Thirty one years old housewife of idiot and epilepsy swallowed a needle for suicide. Two weeks later, the needle was found to be located in the left perilaryngeal abcess cavity.
