The clinical view and the rsults of drug therapy in 144 cases of pharyngolaryngeal neurosis which have been seen by us during past 6 years were reported.
It was recongnized to increase the case in the age of manhood, on the other way in female the largest number of pharyngolaryngeal neurosis were found in the age of thirties and also it was relatively popular in the age of fourties and fifties.
The most part of chief complaints were feeling of foreign body and obstruction in the throat and it was considered that the development of the disease could be mainly due to the strain of mind or body and the difficulty to removing the stress.
Concerning the therapeutic results, we had the price in fluphenazine 79.2%, in perphenazine 66.6%, in brom 50.0%, in chlorpromazine 45.5% and in meprobamate 40.0% which distinguisched in fluphenazine and perphenazine than the others.
