Abstract
Twenty-two cases of the esophageal foreign bodies observed in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of Fukushima Medical College during the past six years and a half were statistically discussed. At the same time we reported that a seventy-six years old man who died from an artificial tooth in the esophagus. We emphasized the danger of the esophageal foreign body in the aged, especially in an old man and the need of the special consideration in his nursing.
