Abstract
Nowadays, Nd-YAG laser is used to resolve the obstruction from the endo-bronchial lung cancer. Seventy-three cases (47 male and 26 female) were treated by Nd-YAG laser in our institute in these 14 years. There were 47 primary lung cancers, 15 metastatic tumors and 11 benign lesions. The mean number of treatment of these 73 cases were 2.3 times and the maximun was 15 times.
The fetal complications were observed in 4 cases who died from the bleeding of the bronchio-pulmonary arterial fistula. Nd-YAG laser is so powerful that it can remove a huge mass in the endo-bronchial tree. But sometimes there occurs severe fetal complication such as bronchio-pulmonary arterial fistula.
