Abstract
This study compared changes in waist circumference and body weight between participants who received Specific Health Guidance on the day of their health checkup and those who received it later in fiscal year 2023. Subjects included 160 participants in the same-day intervention group and 101 participants in the delayed intervention group. The completion rate was 78.8% in the same-day intervention group and 71.3% in the delayed intervention group. Mean reductions in waist circumference were 1.21 cm and 0.04 cm, respectively, while mean reductions in body weight were 0.31 kg and 0.12 kg, respectively. These findings suggest that same-day intervention may contribute to improved health outcomes.
