Abstract

Recently, Evidence-based Medicine (EBM) has been distributed on a worldwide basis, and there is a tendency to scientifically examine the usefulness of medical technology, medicine, preventive medicine, and health politics. This trend is visible not only in the medical field but also throughout the behavioral sciences, including the fields of Nursing and Nutrition.
This special issue contains articles on EBM in the fields of Medicine, Nursing, and Nutrition and also includes an article related to Meta-analysis.
This paper is an introduction to EBM and presents a discussion of the relationships between EBM and Behaviormetrics.
