Slip Casting of Ferrites

Abstract

The factors involved in the slip casting of dense ferrites have been investigated, particular attention being paid to the effect of calcination temperature, particle-size distribution, deflocculant and protective colloid. Suitable particle-size distribution for slip casting can be obtained from a mixture of calcine and raw batch. Effective additives for casting slip are triethylamine and NH₄-alginate.
