Abstract

Ba2YCu3O7-x-BaZrO3 superconductive composite was prepared by spray drying method. The composite sintered body had nano-composite structure consisting of Ba2YCu3O7-x and intragrain BaZrO3 particles with a less than 100nm size. The contribution of BaZrO3 particles to flux pinning was discussed by microstructure observation and pinning property measurement of the sintered body.
