Abstract
The effect of sintering temperature (890°-950°C), on the electric and the magnetic properties of the high-Tc superconducting ceramics in Y-Ba-Cu-O system was investigated. The specimens were sintered for 20 hours in the air. The highest susceptibility, -0.135emu/g was observed in the specimen sintered at 920°C. The highest Tc was obtained in the specimen sintered at 950°C, and its zero resistivity temperature, Tc-end was observed at 77K. Its apparent density was 5.8×103kg/m3.
