Abstract
Many types of reinforced retaining walls which have vertical face of wall have been developed. The reinforced soil retaining wall is often applied to difficult conditions such as in steep slope topography. The deformation of reinforced retaining wall due to natural disaster was confirmed. This paper shows the investigation of the damage of reinforced retaining wall due to the 2005 Mid Niigata Earthquake and restored case of Route 17 by using reinforced soil retaining wall which has double wall system.
