Abstract
The experiments on cathodic protection with magnesium anodes have been carried out using Daiichi-Tetsuei-maru and Hiyama-maru.
In the magnesium anode system it was found to be difficult to control the anode current, especially an over-current occurred frequently. Therefore, the paint coats were damaged and the consumption of the magnesium anode was accelerated.
