Abstract
Electrochemical methods for measuring corrosion rate of metals are discussed concerning with Tafel slope extrapolation method, polarization resistance methods with 2 and 3 electrodes. Special methods for determination of the quite low corrosion rate and the rate under high pressure and temperature conditions are also explained. Possible errors in corrosion measuring methods and their correcting methods are discussed.
