Abstract

Apparatuses and some important techniques in the far infrared transmission measurement in low temperatures are described. A superconducting magnet provides magnetic fields up to 50kOe. Inner helium chamber works well for detector cooling. Temperature regulating technique, a vacuum-proof optical window, a needle valve for liquid helium and vibration free system are also discussed.
