Abstract
Soybean and cotton exhibit different heliotropic leaf movements during daytime to regulate the amount of solar radiation incident on leaf, leaf temperature and transpiration etc. Paraheliotropism is commonly associated with water stress. The objective of the present experiment was to study the sap flow rate (transpiration) and leaf temperature of the two crops under water stress situation comparatively.
