Abstract
Soybean and cotton exhibit different heliotropic leaf movements during daytime to regulate radiation interception, leaf temperature and transpiration etc. These leaf movements are more conspicuous during drought stress. The objectives of the present experiment were to study different kinds of deleterious and/or adaptive changes in terms of leaf temperature, leaf photosynthesis and transpiration under various irrigation levels in soybean and cotton.
