Abstract
We report two cases of acute traumatic dislocation of the peroneal tendon over the lateral malleolus, in whom we treated successfully with surgery. This injury is often misdiagnosed as ankle sparin because of pain and swelling, so provocative maneuver is essential to diagnosis. As redislocation frequently ensued with coservative treatment, we recommend surgical treatment.
