Abstract
Limb-salvage operation is difficult for case in which soft tissue sarcomas (STS) exists adjacent to bones, joints and major neurovascular bundles.
Recent developments in adjuvant brachytherapy in resected STS indicate that the rate of local recurrence lessens, function-saving resection and brachytherapy is one choice in treatment of STS of the limb.
The article reports our experience of brachytherapy after function-saving resection for one case with synovial sarcoma of the hip.
