Abstract
Studies on physico-chemical properties of land slide clay collected from various parts of Japan show that the kinds of mineral components of clay vary in many cases.
The writer has hitherto discussed various problems of clay from chemical points of view.
The present paper describes the results of detailed studies on triaxial compression test concerning physical properties of land slide clay, especially density and water content, collected from Biwa-ko Strain Zone.
