Abstract
Japanese government established the numerical target of traffic fatality less than 3000 by 2015. Medico- engineering collaboration holds the key for this target achievement. With setting a base of traffic research in the hospital, in-depth analysis and effective management of a traffic accident becomes possible. The AACN information (impact direction, speed change and seatbelt fastening) predicts a possibility of occupant injury when the car crushed. Therefore rapid transmission of AACN information to the fire department and to the base hospital of HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Service) will have strong possibility of decreasing traffic death.
