Questionnaire of dental examination using intraoral scanners

Abstract

 Dental examination using a intraoral scanner (IOS) have a number of advantages including less patient discomfort, safety, time-efficiency, simplified clinical procedures, no impression materials and plasters, and better communication with the patients and the dental technicians. Moreover, the advantages of IOS have the improvement in the speed of imaging, a realistic picture, portable, etc. To verify the effectiveness, we examined in student’s mouth and performed consultation questionnaire, and have confirmed the useful method.
