Abstract
This paper is intended as my investigations of board of education, and the methodology in educational administration. I think, so far the study of this theme has been superficial, board of education at municipal level. The boards of education at the municipal level have not enough autonomy, for example, at their originality of school government. Therefore, the studies of board of education are not interested. Many boards of education are closed not only to inhabitant but also to investigator. The administrative informations and data are limited on educational administration. We always find it very hard to get information about them. In view of it, I consider my methodology on given theme , but here I limit the discussion to two examples in my study. The contents of this paper are the following; 1 For what purpose are we studying the boards of education. 2 My method of the investigations of two boards of education, Nakatsugawa-city and Miharu-town. 3 The problem of the investigation of board of education.
