Abstract
Concentrations of 27 pesticides detected in Lake Biwa water were evaluated based on their shipment amounts. In the fiscal year 2006, the concentrations of simetryn, bromobutide and mefenacet were high compared with their shipment amounts but those of phthalide and thiobencarb were reverse. It is presumed that adsorption abilities of simetryn, bromobutide and mefenacet on soil are weak and those of pthalide and thiobencarb are strong. In 2000∼2007, concentrations of iprobenfos and isoprothiolane decreased according to the decrease of their shipment amounts.
