A total 110 taxa, belonging to 37 genera were found from Omusaronuma-Lake, Okoppe-chyo of Hokkaido, Japan. The dominant species and subdominant species were Melosira nummuloides C. Agardh, Petroneis marina（Ralfs）D. G. Mann, and Diploneis ovalis（Hilse）Cleve found in the sediment.
