Uniformity of Cardiac Lesions in Incomplete Atrioventricular Block in the Horse

Abstract

Two additional horses affected with 2nd degree atrioventricular (A-V) block (Type I) were studied cardio-histopathologically. The cardiac lesions observed were, with regard to quality and location, identical with those in the previous 8 horses with incomplete A-V block. This suggests that there may be a uniformity in cardiac lesions in this kind of arrhythmia.
