Abstract

In this paper we deal with an extended fuzzy model with singleton consequents and discuss the stability of a closed-loop fuzzy system which models a generalized nonlinear system. First, we extend a fuzzy model and show stability conditions for unforced fuzzy systems. Next, we give a stability theorem for closed-loop fuzzy systems with feedback fuzzy controllers. Then we introduce a fuzzy pseudolinearization algorithm for stabilizing control. Examples show the effects of the extended fuzzy model and the stability conditions.
