Submarine Topography off the Southern Part of Sanriku District

Abstract

In this paper are summarized the findings of the bathymetric survey carried out off the Pacific coast of the southern part of Tohoku (Sanriku) District of Honshu, Japan.
Significant topographic features of the continental shelf, continental slope, deep sea terrace and the Japan Trench are illustrated on Profiles I to XII.
