Abstract
To determine the distribution and correlated factors of Lp (a) and remnant like particles (Lipo Z), serum Lp (a) and lipo Z were examined in healty male adults who underwent physical examinations. Our results can be summarized as follows. 1) The data of Lp (a) yields a power normal distribution with 0.5 power. Median, 25% tile and 75% tile of the distribution were 16.6 mg/dl, 6.3 mg/dl and 27 mg/dl respectively. 2) The data of Lipo Z yields normal distribution. Median, 25% tile and 75% tile of the distribution were 3.5 mg/dl, 2.2 mg/dl and 4. 8 mg/dl respectively. 3) The relationship between Lp (a) and age, obesity index (0I), mean blood pressure (MBP), uric acid (UA), fetal blood sugar (FBS), triglycerides (TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDLC) and high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDLC) were not recognized. But, a week correlation was only observed to total cholesterol (TC) (r=0.19, p=0.07) . 4) The relationship between lipo Z and age, 0I, MBP, UA, FBS, TG and HDLC were not recognized. But, a correlation was observed to TC (r=0.18, p=0.05), TG (r=0.18, p=0.09) and LDLC (r=0.20, p=0.07) .
