Actual use of restroom facilities outside the home among young adult segment

Abstract

This study conducted a questionnaire survey on the actual use of restroom facilities outside the home among young adult segment. The results showed that the use of hand dryers and bidet decreased significantly due to the effect of the COVID-19. Other than defecation, SNS was the most common activity except for "do nothing" at the toilet stall. The acceptable number of people in line waiting for a toilet stall was lower in males than in females.
