Abstract

A questionnaire survey and a subject experiment under two environmental conditions were conducted with 18 men and women between July 1 and September 30, 2022. Compared to the steady state, there were greater individual differences in temperature and comfort in the non-steady state. The subjects were divided into three groups ‹Low, Middle, and High › based on their dorsal skin temperature, and their desire to change temperature and their feelings of warmth, coolness, and comfort were examined. In the Middle group, there were large individual differences in the desire to change the temperature, with a tendency to report a positive or negative temperature ⁄coolness sensation, while reporting a comfortable sensation on the uncomfortable side.
