Abstract
In order to reduce averaged length of stay and improve the introduction rate, We organized some committees and the area corelation room. We have accomplished the reduction of averaged length of stay from 30.3 days to 21.8 days in five years after our trials, combined with the valid use of blank beds.
The application of clincalpath for patients undergoing cholecystectomy with laparoscope led to the reduction of averaged length of stay from 9.97 days to 6.73 days with staff's cooperation.
In the feature, the application of DRG/PPS might be impending over medical environment, nevertheless we have to make an effort to provide high quality cares by the practical use of clinical pathways and enriching it's contents.
