Abstract

Applied Biosystems can give many solutions for proteomics. For protein identifications and biomarker detections, a 4800 MALDI TOF/TOFTM Analyzer shows good performances. By using iTRAQTM reagent technology and a GPS Exproler sftware installed in a 4800 MALDI TOF/TOFTM Analyzer biomarker detections can be easily done. Without pretreatments such as electrophoresis, by using LC/MALDI technology and separating protease digests in complex proteins many proteins can be identified.
