Abstract
As an economical way of evaluating the bearing capacity of piles, many statnamic tests have been conducted . However, only few of the statnamic tests have been done on pile group and piled raft, compared to those on the single piles. In order to investigate the applicability of the statnamic load test to piled raft, experiments on model piled raft have been carried out under vertical statnamic loading and vertical static loading. The load distribution between the raft and the piles under statnamic loading have been confirmed to be almost the same distribution when under static loading.
