Abstract
The term of Bangkok Clay is referred to the soft marine clay which deposited where the Chao Phraya River interacted with marine processes as the sea level change during the Holocene Transgression. This complex sea level change causes soft marine clay layer overlaid on stiff clay deposited during Late Pleistocene epoch in the Lower Central Plain of Thailand. The total 476 boreholes of soil testing and investigation all over this plain were collected. The boundary of Bangkok clay and the ranges of geotechnical properties both of Bangkok Clay or soft marine clay and stiff clay layer are shown in this paper.
