Abstract
We herein report the case of a patient with Crohn's disease with-in a larynx lesion. This case was poorly controlled, and had undergone ileocecal segmental resection two years before the current presentation. It has been thought that larynx lesions of Crohn's disease may easily occur in intractable cases, especially those with poor control. In the present case, the patient presented with an aggravated larynx lesion, but the lesion and symptoms improved rapidly following the administration of infliximab maintenance therapy. We believe that a fast-acting steroid may provide an optimal treatment for such cases from the standpoint of securing the respiratory tract.
