Abstract
There are many kinds of benign tumors occuring in the tongue, but leiomyoma is much rarer.
A case of leiomyoma of the tongue in an infant was reported. The patient complained of the tumor in the tongue and speech disorder. The tumor was removed easily under general anesthesia.
Histopathological examination revealed leiomyoma.
Neither recurrence nor metastasis was seen one year after the operation.
