Abstract
The evaluation of the bandpass filters on the brain stem auditory evoked responses in adults was studied in this paper according to the consideration on the relationship between the bandpass filters and the stochastically illustrated wave of the BSR and ERA.
The BSR components (wave I-VI or VII) occurring in the first 8 msec. after a click stimulus was given represents the activation massage of the cochlea and the auditory nuclei of the brainstem.
The variability of the latencies to its each peaks of wave appears rather small in its rate eather subject and age group-dependent.
So that the procedure to obtain a availabel BSR wave should then be necessory to set the amplifier bandpass filter at 100-3000 Hz or 100-5000 Hz and 100-300 Hz or 100-500 Hz.
