Abstract
In electromyographic examination, an intensity-duration recording is one of the best means to detect the status of denervation. We are able to obtain valuable informations to evaluate the status of recurrent laryngeal nerve paralysis with I-D recording of internal laryngeal muscles. But we must solve a lot of problems in measuring I-D curve of internal laryngeal muscles. Here we present a new system that describe the I-D curve of internal laryngeal muscles within a short time and minutely with fiberscope and computer controlled electronic stimulator. It takes only a few minutes to get accurate results from 15 points of various durations. The reappearances of the results are excellent.
