Abstract
We evaluated the prophylactic efficacy of Histaglobin injection therapy for patients with Japanese Cedar pollinosis. The effective rates were 86.7% in the prophylactic treatment group (15 cases) and 78.6% in the post-symptomatic treatment group (42 cases). There was no statistically significant difference between two groups. Four cases in the prophylactic treatment group who had been injected since January showed no signs through the pollen season. The prophylactic method of Histaglobin injection was considered to be an available therapy for patients with Japanese Cedar pollinosis.
