Abstract
Sixteen cases of perennial allergic rhinitis patients were treated with AA-673 (Amlexanox) tablets. The patients were given one tablet of AA-673 (each tablet contains 50mg of Amlexanox) three times a day, for up to eight weeks. Final global improvement rating showed moderate or better improvement in 70% of the cases. Side effects were not observed in any cases. In most, cases, improvement appeared four weeks after the start of the administration. The author concluded that AA-673 tablet is a considerably useful medicine for the treatment of perennial allergic rhinitis.
