Experiences of Local Use of Decadron in Otorhinolaryngology

Abstract

The authors report here their experiences of the local use of 0.1% solution and 0.1% topical cream of Decadron,(dexamethasone 21-phosphate), in 40 cases of laryngeal and ear diseases mainly showing acute symptoms. Its use by inhalation and plastering was easy with no fear of toxic effects. They were confirmed that it could be used with as good curative effects as antibiotics and other chemicals if we select cases suitable for application and carefully examine its usage and dosage.
