Abstract
In order to explore the relationship of the localization of epipharyngitis with one-sided nasal obstruction due to nasal septum deviation, observation was made on the difference in the cytologic picture of epipharyngeal mucosa and in the nasal ventilation between right and left side in 58 cases of nasal septum deviation of various degrees.
The results were rather clear than those reported in the previous paper; the severer is the onesided nasal obstruction on convex side with increase of deviation, the more remarkable is the localization of inflammation in the epipharyngeal region to the same side.
