Abstract
Adenoid cystic carcinoma in the larynx is very rare. We have experienced a case of adenoid cystic carcinoma arising from the supraglottic region. A granulated, peduncular tumor was observed at the left false vocal cord, partially reaching the anterior commissure. Because bilateral true vocal cords had good movements, laryngomicrosurgery using CO2 LASER was applied for maintaining the laryngeal function. The follow-up study of this case has presented no evidence of recurrence.
