A 6-year-old boy had noticed a soft mass on the right side of his neck and pururent drainage from small openings on the left side of the neck and both preauricular regions. A cystic mass and three fistulas were removed surgically. Microscopic examinations showed that the cervical cyst had cilliated columnar epithelium and the cervical columnar epithelium.
Thirteen cases, similar to ours, have been reported in Japan. These cases are reviewed and their clinical features are compared.
