We report two cases of thyroid hemiagenesis. The first case was a 49-year-old female with hemiagenesis of the left thyroid lobe and the second case was 75-year-old female with goiter in the right thyroid lobe and a defect of the left lobe. In both patients the thyroid function tests were euthyroid, and US, CT and 99mTcO4-scintigraphy were useful for the diagnosis of thyriod hemiagenesis Both patients are being conservatively managed without surgery.
