Abstract
The energy problems since 1945 and future prospects were reviewed.The consumptions of electric power in the recent several years were surveyed in view of the Five-year Plan commencing 1953 that is scheduled to improve the situations.New energy resources which will be expected to come in utilizing were also briefly indi-cated, and it was emphasized that the development of electric powers should be controlled by the advancement of atomic powers.
